I ordered the footprint along with the Kelty Salida 2 and used it on a motorcycle trip in the mountains of Colorado this past memorial day weekend. The footprint was a perfect fit and made for a great moisture barrier, given the fact that it was 27 degrees the next morning and I was completely dry. Simply put, if you buy the Kelty Salida 2, save yourself a bunch of trouble and annoyance and just buy this footprint as well. It packs up into the size of a handkerchief and is worth the money.

I purchased this here at Amazon last 09/13/2011 and after using it for 3 times, I can conclude that this is a good for the bucks product together with a Kelty Salida 2 tent. Not only it protect the floor of the tent for being damage but also protect the person occupying the tent during heavy rains for a dry and comfortable sleeping place, and what nice about it is that it is very light and easy to carry. =)
